PickDriver Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Data controller: Eduardo Melcon Diez, developer/publisher of PickDriver on Google Play. PickDriver is responsible for processing the personal data described in this policy.

2. Data we process

Depending on the features you use, we may process:

• Account data: username, email address, and password (or equivalent login credential).
• Federated login data: Google sign-in token (ID token), when you choose Google Sign-In.
• Session and security data: session/authentication token.
• Game data: leagues, teams, picks, bans, standings, and related account history.
• Notification data: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token.
• Device identifiers related to notifications: Android ID (ANDROID_ID).
• Minimal technical data required to operate the API, security, and incident handling.

3. Purposes

• Create and manage your user account.
• Allow sign-in (email/password or Google).
• Operate game and league functionality.
• Send pick-turn notifications, race result updates, and deadline reminders when authorized.
• Protect service security and prevent abuse.
• Handle support requests and privacy rights requests.

4. Legal basis

• Performance of the service requested by the user (account, login, leagues, and gameplay).
• Consent for push notifications and relevant system permissions.
• Legitimate interest in security, stability, and fraud prevention.
• Compliance with legal obligations, where applicable.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data only with providers that are necessary to operate the app under our instructions, for example:

• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notification delivery).
• Google Sign-In / Google Play Services (Google login).
• PickDriver backend infrastructure required to run accounts and leagues.

6. Data retention

We keep data while your account is active or for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve incidents, and meet legal obligations.

If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize associated information, except for data that must be retained temporarily for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls appropriate to the service context.

8. Children

PickDriver is not specifically designed for children under 13. If we detect processing of children's data without a valid legal basis, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, or deletion of your data:

• In-app: Profile -> Delete account.
• Outside the app: account deletion request.

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes. The current version will be published at this same URL with its latest update date.
